Catch LinkedTV @ICT2013eu! The future of TV is at Stand 4C7. #ict2013eu
ICT 2013 this week in Vilnius, Lithuania not only sees the launch of information about the new Horizon2020 programme, and offers a meet-up of over 5 000 researchers from across Europe, it is also an exhibition of the latest innovation coming out of European funded R&D. So not surprising that LinkedTV is there, in the Zone R4 “Intelligent connecting intelligence”, showing its latest tools, demonstrators and first release of LinkedTV scenarios running on our integrated Platform and multiscreen Player. There’s plenty to discover so pop by and talk to the LinkedTV representatives.
Stand description:
“LinkedTV will demonstrate a system for semi-automatic analysis and annotation of audiovisual material in order for it to be tagged with objects of interest within the video and then enriched with links to online content relevant to those objects. The result is a highly flexible and dynamic interactive video system which can be used both in online video and in Internet Television scenarios.
The demonstration will show the playout of a broadcaster’s TV program within a LinkedTV-dedicated player, which supports use of the TV remote control to access objects on screen and browse to related links, as well as display of that additional content with a “second screen” mobile device. On demand, LinkedTV representatives on site can go ‘under the hood’ to show specific aspects of the projects innovative technologies: media analysis, semantic annotation and personalisation components integrated into a LinkedTV platform which powers the linked television experience.”
