LinkedTV partners will be present at WWW2014 (World Wide Web Conference) in Seoul, Korea during the dates April 7-11, 2014. Join us for the workshop on Microposts on April 7 and a tutorial on Remixing Media on the Web on April 8 – grab a place now during early registration, closing February 17!

• This year the #Microposts 2014 Workshop will host an “Named Entity Extraction and Linking Challenge (NEEL)”. The overall task of the challenge is to automatically extract entities from English microposts, and link them to the corresponding DBPedia resources. The prize for the best solution is sponsored by LinkedTV.
• A first MediaMixer tutorial on Remixing Media on the Web will not only be given by LinkedTV partners (EURECOM, CERTH, MODUL) but will cover many technologies developed in LinkedTV for media analysis, annotation and enrichment. More information is available from the MediaMixer project.
